Laurence R. Lunden began 43 years at the University of Minnesota as a teaching assistant in the School of Business Administration. In 1934, he began 12 years of service as an investment counsel to the Regents, and was named assistant comptroller in 1941, comptroller in 1943, and treasurer in 1951.
